What a lazy Monday!  Roland and I worked about 7 hours or so on baking bread yesterday. Today we reap the rewards! We made 3 maple loafs, 1 cherry vanilla walnut roll, a garlic parmesan loaf and a  really thick garlic rosemary loaf.  I also made a grape tomato and basil salad.  The cats, they made nothing!

Look at them just laying there being insanely cute.

They love their new window hammocks. They each got one, and they are so happy. It is now their afternoon past time to lay in the open window and soak in the sunshine.  Oh to be a cat! But then I wouldn't get to eat all the yummy bread we made!

That's a pretty nice veiw of the salad. The Basil is from my mom's herb garden.
Toasted fresh rosemary garlic bread!
It was such a simple and nice lunch!  I really liked this loaf! I like the way it looks and the wonderful flavor.  I am ready to make baking a Sunday tradition!

I love Black-eyed Susans. There are just fields and fields of them! I wanted to stop the car and take photos of them.
But there was no place to pull over.  I find this happens a lot in life. You have things you want to do, but lack the opportunity. ( I found these next to an old barn) The best I could do was to hand my sister my camera and let her click as we went by. It wasn't how I wanted it to be. But it still gave me something to post today!
I have been spending a lot of time on  Etsy. There are so many neat things, and people. One of my favorite time consumers is making a treasury list. For July I will be making several Patriotic Treasuries. Because it's fun for me and I love to be able to show case some of my own items. Come check out my store. I will be up loading new stuff this week, and having a sale on the week of my birthday!

We have been so busy!  We went to the seasonal opening of the farmers market!

We bought some onions, beets, green tomatoes, and a hanging plant. We really liked it.  Roland and I have been thinking about selling our bread at the local market. We have spent the last week or so playing with recipes. I think we still need to do a little more practice, Roland doesn't mind.  He loves chowing down on successful experiments.
Roland kneading the bread, cause he's tougher than I am!

My favorite bread in Japan was a Maple bread. This is a maple pecan roll.  It tastes like french toast!
Does it look good enough to eat?
Think we could sell it?  I think we will see!

Yesterday was my Dad's Retirement cook out. We invited a few friends and just had a nice casual dinner. My mother has been working so hard on her garden. She should be so proud! It's really lovely and just makes you smile when you look at it.
My mom's roses climb up the side of the screened in porch.
Her garlic is all a bloom!
She was building that wall before my wedding. Now its all done  and is just  cute!
Her herbs ready for a replant.
Everyone eating outside on the porch.
I brought some flowers from my house.
I decorated my Dads cake in his school's colors.
It was a lovely evening, my Dad really had a good time. I am grateful for that.

Finaly Wedding pictures!

I can't really say too much. I think they say more things than I could ever put into words.

This was the wedding site. We did everything here. It was a great thing to do for our casual wedding.

The Moms wanted Roland's first look of me in my dress to be on my way down the aisle. So it was up to my bridal guard to keep me hidden.

Time to party!
I worked really hard, and I am so proud to say I made my wedding from scratch! Every letter every flower and every detail I had my hands on. I was so happy to have the opportunity.
This wreath hangs in my home now.
