Today was a pretty long day we traveled to another shopping center and took part in their wonderful sales!  I got a pretty blue summer dress. We got home about four in the evening and it was time to think about dinner.
I made  pork and veal meatballs in marinara sauce with fettuccine.

1 lb Ground meat
4 cloves of garlic
3 slices of bread
1 onion
4 tbs of dried parsley
hand full of fresh basil
2 cans of tomatoes
1 egg
2 tbs of flower
2 tbs of olive oil
2tsp of salt
2 tbs of lemon juice
tab of butter

Meat balls
Break apart the bread. Roughly chop up half the onion and place 2 peeled garlic cloves with 2 tbs of parsley in a food possessor to chop finely. place the meat in a bowl  and crack the egg in it.  Empty the bread mix into the bowl and  mix with your hands till it is  well combined and the meat has no lumps.  Place the olive oil in a  deep skillet and turn the heat on high. Once the pan is hot,  turn to medium and roll the meat balls in to golf ball sized balls.  Turn the meat to brown all the sides and then place them on a plate off to the side.  Cut the other half of the onion and through it into the same pan the meatballs were in. When the onions are transparent mince and add the other two cloves of garlic with the parsley to the pan.   You may want to add more oil to the pan if there doesn't seem to be enough.  When the garlic is slightly golden add the 2 cans of tomatoes. I perfer to use the whole canned tomatoes, but any kind will do. Add the meatballs back to the sauce. Sprinkle the salt basil and lemon juice and cover for about 20 mins.  Once the pasta is finished add it to the pan with 3 tbs of pasta water and add the butter. Stir while it simmers.  The guys loved it!

I have had a pretty bad headache so that's all I could really report today. I think it was the heat and the sun. I hope to have a good nights sleep soon

Muwah!
