Today was really nice outside.  The sky was super blue. Roland and I  did some stuff around the house, and he resubmitted some paper work to his old university.  We are reading a book called The Wise Man's Fear. It's the sequel to The name of the Wind.  We read that together while we were apart over skype.  So he reads it when I cook or before bed.  It's really nice.
Some of the roses have wilted, but there are new buds on the way. I am so excited about all the colors.  They are a beautiful contradiction to the dry gray sand everywhere.

The lemons are still not yellow. But they are sweet in my lemonade, which happens to not be the same lemonade that Australians drink. Evidently when they think of lemonade,  fizzy lemon soda is what they have in mind.  It's pretty good too!

Muwah!
